This course provides an overview of the importance of international business and trade in the global economy and explores the factors that infl uence success in international markets. Students will learn about the techniques and strategies associated with marketing, distribution, and managing international business effectively. Prerequisite: None​

Entrepreneurial Studies

BDI3C Entrepreneurship: The Venture, Grade 11, College Preparation

This course focuses on ways in which entrepreneurs recognize opportunities, generate ideas, and organize resources to plan successful ventures that enable them to achieve their goals. Students will create a venture plan for a studentrun, school-based, or summer business. Through hands-on experiences, students will have opportunities to develop the values, traits, and skills most often associated with successful entrepreneurs. Prerequisite: None

BDP3O Entrepreneurship: The Enterprising Person, Grade 11, Open

This course examines the importance of enterprising employees in today’s changing business environment. Students will learn about the skills and attributes of enterprising employees, the distinguishing features of their work environments, and the challenges and rewards of becoming an enterprising person. Students will also have an opportunity to demonstrate and develop enterprising skills by planning and organizing a school or community event. Prerequisite: None
